Geneviève Le Fort becomes
deputy director of the OAQ
Born in Brussels, Geneviève Le Fort studied Art History and Archaeology at the Free University of Brussels (ULB). After a Master Degree in Latin American Studies at the University of Texas, Austin, she received her PhD in Precolumbian Art History from the Free University of Brussels (ULB). Between 1996 and 2007, she took various mandates in teaching and research (Museums and Universities) in Belgium, Switzerland and Europe. In 2006, she was appointed head of the equal opportunity office at the University of Neuchâtel. She joined the OAQ in 2011 where she is named deputy head from September 1, 2011.
